The Manchester based Bulawayo born model, Karen Kawadza has been crowned winner of Miss World Zimbabwe UK 2017. The event was held over the weekend in Holborn, London with eight stunning girls contesting for the position.

Karen is an avid photographer, traveler and upcoming music producer. She is the founder of Eminent Youth Journal which will officially launch later this year.

“Words cannot begin to describe how honoured I am to have been crowned Miss World Zimbabwe UK Queen”, Kawadza said.

“I am now looking forward to competing in Zimbabwe on the 22nd of July and, hopefully, qualifying to compete in Miss World later in the year”, she added.

However, held at the Grand Connaught Rooms, the first runner-up (1st Princess) of the 2017 edition of Miss World Zimbabwe UK (a celebration of Zimbabwe, its culture and of women, with an emphasis on Beauty with a Purpose) was Amanda Nkomo while Laurah Simbi was crowned 2nd Princess and also picked as the Judge’s choice to be featured in a prestigious magazine, Contessa, where she will get an exclusive five-page spread.
