TV personality, Minnie Dlamini and her boo, Quinton Jones had their “umembeso” last weekend in a beautiful ceremony. The couple tied the knot in a colourful traditional wedding in Northern Durban, KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday.

Studded with stars, the event saw close friends and family of the couple gather at Minnie’s family home to celebrate her joy and happiness with her.

In her Twitter post on Sunday, Dlamini said:

I’m honestly the happiest human alive right now. Being around so much love is humbling

Minnie and Quinton are expected to walk down the aisle in September.

The couple reportedly approached Nkateko Mabaso, MultiChoice executive earlier this year with a proposal to get the TV channel to acquire exclusive rights to their wedding. The proposal was approved alongside a special show to be called Minnie’s Wedding Special. This deal reportedly worths R6-million, with R3-million for production and the other half for the sale of the exclusive rights.

Their traditional wedding is indeed a tip of the iceberg.
